Pills, parties and paranoia – a nineties response to Mike Leigh’s Abigail’s Party. An alternative social gathering – a post-club, post-drug, post mortem event – the chill out! As the mists of morning appear and the euphoria of their chemical bonding fades, the mundanity of daily life becomes clear as we follow two couples on their downhill journey of self-realisation through confessions of desire, fetishistic fantasy and closeted skeletons.
